We’re currently partnered with an ambitious and cutting-edge business services corporation for Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to join their expanding corporate accounting division. Spanning various industries, our client specializes in providing a Shared Services approach for core business operations to a portfolio of companies spanning various industries from Oil & Gas, to Healthcare, Manufacturing and many others. Reporting into the AP Director, the ideal AP Manager must have a strong background in AP Accounting functions including accruals and fixed assets, month end reporting, aging AP reporting and related financials. The ideal AP Manager will be hands-on in the training and performance of an offshore AP team, with previous experience in the development, coaching and training of an AP team, specializing in customer service and processing precision. As a management figure, the AP Manager will be actively engaged with suppliers and vendors, showcasing how they work, and provide a level of detail orientation when on-boarding.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in AP Accounting and high-value invoice processes
- 3+ years of AP team management including team development, training, and process improvement
- Experience in a variety of industries environments is preferred
- Coupa Software experience is a plus, will consider other related platforms (SAP Ariba, Airbase, Jaggaer, etc.)
- Strategic involvement and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable engaging with senior leadership in strategic initiatives
