Accounts Payable Manager
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and manage our AP team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AP processes, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the full cycle AP process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices. Monitor and address AP inquiries, ensuring they are handled efficiently and effectively.
Manage invoice approvals and coding, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assist in the month-end close process, including calculating and reviewing accruals.
Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Lead the annual 1099 process for multiple legal entities.
Train, develop, and motivate the AP team, creating a positive and supportive work environment.
Continuously review and improve AP processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost-savings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
3+ years of managerial experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting and AP best practices.
Highly motivated and a team player.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems is preferred.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 + benefits
Location: Las Colinas, Texas
