As an investment backed private energy company, we are partnered with a growing and innovative oil and gas investment firm in their need for an Accounting Analyst. Currently managing a diverse and sizable portfolio of entities, our client is backed by a private investment firm and dedicated to long-term investments in Oil & Gas, both domestic and internationally. The CFO is creating a new position for an Accounting Analyst to join their team, and actively supports the process of building up a new team and bringing everything in house. The ideal Accounting Analyst must be agile and adaptable to a changing team environment, handling both day-to-day duties and contributing to the long-term scalability of newly created procedures and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting and data analysis; budgeting and forecasting; cash flow forecasting
- General ledger management
- Audit support
- Support compliance and internal control establishment
- Streamline and optimization of financial processes, implementing improvements across various accounting procedures
Requirements:
- Active CPA, bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- 5+ years accounting and financial analysis experience
- Relevant industry experience
- Public/private accounting exposure would be ideal; will consider one or the other
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with leadership in different locations
