The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and operational excellence within our organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the professional services industry, with a proven track record in process improvement and deep expertise in financial systems. This executive-level position will collaborate with senior leadership to deliver actionable insights and ensure the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the FP&A function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial operations.
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of financial systems and tools, ensuring data integrity and streamlined reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making across the organization.
  • Develop and present comprehensive financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in financial planning & analysis, with a strong background in the professional services industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and operational efficiencies within an organization.
  • Proficient in financial systems, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel skills. Experience with [specific financial software, if applicable] is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to synthesize complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with a focus on collaboration and results.
