Our client, a dynamic and growing company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Queens. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability within the accounting function.
- Assist with system implementations and automation efforts to optimize financial reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive change and improve financial processes.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA preferred (or actively pursuing).
- Public accounting experience required; Big 4 background strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proven experience working on process improvements, system implementations, and driving organizational change.
- Cantonese or Mandarin language skills preferred but not required.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not a primary focus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
