We’re searching for a seasoned and dynamic Finance Director to join our Perry, OH leadership team, taking a central role in shaping our financial operations, strategic planning, compliance, and internal controls. As Finance Director, you’ll act as a key partner and advisor to the Vice President & General Manager, collaborating with site leaders to influence impactful financial decisions that contribute to our success.
Role Overview and Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Strategic Business Partnering: Serve as a strategic advisor to the Vice President & General Manager and Group Finance team, providing critical business insights and support.
- Team Leadership: Guide and develop the finance team, driving data-informed analysis that transforms insights into effective business actions.
- Financial Compliance & Control: Maintain rigorous internal controls and ensure our financial practices align with company policies.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and a strong grasp of variance drivers.
- Operational Efficiency: Deliver timely, high-quality work to support swift and informed decision-making.
- Contract & KPI Analysis: Monitor key contracts and performance indicators, analyzing variances and supporting corrective actions as needed.
- Strategic Planning & Reporting: Lead the preparation of comprehensive reports, strategic plans, and budgets, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
- Professional Integrity: Uphold the highest standards of ethics and credibility, ensuring safety and well-being for yourself and others.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
Core Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of finance leadership background, preferred in a manufacturing setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a talent for transforming data into strategic actions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Education: MBA
- Certifications: CPA or CMA
- Systems Knowledge: Experience with Hyperion financial reporting systems
Salary: $160,000-$190,000
