Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting staff, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Assist in financial audits, working closely with external auditors.
- Analyze financial data and trends to support management in decision-making.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in public accounting is highly preferred.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
