We have a contract or contract to hire opportunity with a prestigious technology/IT solutions company. They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investor Relations Manager with 3+ years of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) experience to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing and executing the company’s investor relations strategy, with a key focus on integrating ESG principles into investor communications. The Investor Relations Manager will serve as a bridge between the company and the financial community, managing relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
This role is critical to ensuring transparent and accurate communication of the company’s financial performance and ESG initiatives, contributing to the company's reputation as a sustainable and responsible business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy in alignment with the company’s financial objectives and ESG initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, sustainability, legal) to incorporate ESG metrics and initiatives into investor communications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders, ensuring regular and proactive communication regarding financial performance, ESG progress, and strategic updates.
- Prepare and manage quarterly earnings calls, investor presentations, press releases, and annual reports, highlighting the company's financial performance and ESG initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, investor sentiment, and peer activities, providing insights to senior leadership to inform business decisions and investor messaging.
- Work closely with the sustainability and finance teams to compile and report ESG data, ensuring alignment with recognized reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
- Ensure compliance with all SEC regulations, financial disclosure requirements, and ESG reporting standards.
- Plan and execute investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences, including ESG-focused investor events.
- Identify and address any potential risks related to financial performance or ESG initiatives that could impact investor relations or company reputation.
- Serve as an internal advisor on investor sentiment and ESG expectations, providing feedback to senior management and the Board of Directors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, or related fields, with at least 3 years of specific experience in ESG.
- Strong knowledge of ESG principles, sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD), and current regulatory requirements.
- Experience working in the technology sector or with tech companies is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial and ESG information clearly and concisely.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage interactions with investors, analysts, and senior executives.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and ESG reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Knowledge of SEC regulations and compliance requirements related to investor communications and ESG reporting.
