Our client is a fast-growing, dynamic manufacturer seeking a Procurement Leader to take charge of purchasing strategies, supplier relations, and inventory management. This role is perfect for a proactive, results-driven professional who excels at negotiation, streamlining processes, and collaborating with senior leadership and international partners.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement procurement policies to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Lead materials requirement planning (MRP), ensuring inventory aligns with production demands.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, securing the best quality and pricing.
- Stay ahead of market trends, supply chain risks, and cost fluctuations to keep operations running smoothly.
- Source and onboard new suppliers to enhance quality and competitiveness.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize value.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and R&D to align procurement with company goals.
- Track key performance metrics and present cost-saving initiatives to leadership.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of procurement experience in manufacturing, chemicals, packaging, or equipment.
- Expertise in ERP/MRP systems
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
