A rapidly growing E-Commerce Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company in NYC, with $500M in annual revenue, is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join its team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating cross-functionally to support financial reporting, accounting processes, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Support technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards as needed.
- Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and other teams to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
- Participate in ad hoc projects, including system implementations and process enhancements.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of accounting experience, preferably coming straight from public accounting or with a mix of public and private experience.
- CPA or CPA-eligible is preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Experience in E-Commerce, CPG, or retail is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
