An Accounts Receivable Specialist with experience in the commercial property industry is needed for a large, national commercial property management corporation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the accounts receivable processes, billing, and collections, with specific experience using MRI software to manage and track tenant payments and outstanding balances.

- Position is hybrid/ REMOTE, 2-3 days in office/ week

Responsibilities:
- Process and manage all tenant invoices, ensuring accurate billing in line with lease agreements and contractual terms.
- Monitor and update accounts receivable aging reports to track overdue balances and identify potential issues.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and perform collections activities to ensure timely payments.
- Work closely with property managers and leasing agents to resolve billing discrepancies and address tenant inquiries.
- Use MRI software to process and record all tenant payments, manage leases, and ensure accurate tracking of receivables.
- Reconcile daily cash receipts, tenant payment schedules, and aging reports within MRI.
- Ensure accurate data entry into MRI and assist with system updates and improvements.
- Generate and review monthly accounts receivable reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain detailed records of all tenant communications, payment plans, and correspondence related to receivables.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, with at least two years of experience in the commercial property industry.
- Exposure to MRI software (mandatory).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle tenant inquiries professionally.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required
