A Senior Financial Analyst is needed on a direct hire basis for a leading, national corporation based in Plymouth. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance reporting, and will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure financial performance aligns with operational goals and business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, maintain, and update the annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with production schedules and financial targets. Provide insights on potential variances and make recommendations for corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver accurate financial reports for overall corporate operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and performance summaries.
- Conduct detailed analysis of actual vs. budgeted performance
- Assist in the analysis of capital expenditure projects related to manufacturing equipment, plant expansions, and other investments. Ensure alignment with financial goals and ROI targets.
- Perform financial modeling and various ad hoc projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum of three years of financial analysis experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling and budgeting/forecasting.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other manufacturing-specific software).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, manufacturing industry standards, and best practices in financial reporting and analysis.
