Job Summary
We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a background in public accounting, particularly those with experience in audit or assurance. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
- Support the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights on financial performance and variances.
- Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Support ad-hoc projects as needed, including system implementations or integrations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred or in progress.
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting, specifically in audit or assurance.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
