Our client is a rapidly growing, private equity-backed technology services company, is seeking a Deputy CFO to join their executive team.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting in the development and execution of financial strategies, overseeing accounting operations and compliance, managing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow, and improving financial systems to support scalability.
- Support transaction readiness, including financial due diligence and collaboration with investment bankers and private equity sponsors.
- Maintain strong internal controls and risk management processes, while serving as a liaison between the company and its private equity investors, preparing financial reports for the board and leadership team.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Requirements:
- At least 10-15+ years of financial leadership experience, preferably in private equity-backed companies.
- Previous investment banking, investment, or PE related experience – a must.
- Experience in managing or assisting with a sale process (M&A, recapitalization, IPO).
- CPA certification is preferred, with an MBA or CFA a plus.
- The candidate should have a strong background in financial reporting, FP&A, and accounting principles.
- Expertise in financial systems, automation tools, and ERP platforms eg, Net Suite – highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
